<meta name="description" content="On September 1st, 2006, Disney made a move that would signal the end of the W.I.T.C.H. animated series. On that day they moved all JETIX shows off of ABC Family to be shown exclusively on Toon Disney. This mid-season move left many fans in the dark, as Toon Disney is in half as many households as ABC Family channel. It's true that this series didn't get super ratings on ABC Family, but reducing the amount of people who can watch it is no way to increase viewership! And now, many months after the last season two episodes have aired, there is still no word on a third season. Most networks renew their shows before the previous season ends, and this extended delay shows that Disney doesn't really want to renew the show. Most people will agree that the second season is a significant improvement over the quality of the first season. There is so much potential for a third season that it truly deserves to be continued.

There is good news, however. Fans of Kim Possible where able to get that show renewed nine months after it 'ended production forever.' We can do the same for W.I.T.C.H., but only if we can generate the same (or even greater) level of support that KP had. This will be hard, but it is possible! But we need the help of every fan that can possibly help." />

  <p><font size="+1"><b>Here we have collected the tools you will need for Save <i>W.I.T.C.H.</i> Day. We recomend setting this page as  your homepage the day before Save W.I.T.C.H. Day so you will be reminded to call and email on Save W.I.T.C.H. Day.</b></font><br /><br />

<i>It is important that as many fans as possible participate in these series of special days. We dont want Disney to see all the emails and letters coming from just one area, it will look better for us if the emails, letters and faxes are coming from fans EVERYWHERE. That way, every fan is counted and it shows how big our movement really is. Emails and letters from one source doesnt make our movement very credible with Disney ... every fan, on some level ... no matter how small or large a contribution, </i>must<i> participate in some way.</i><br /><br>

<font size="+2">What you should do on Save W.I.T.C.H. Day:</font>

<li>Send email to Disney. We have our new email program set up now at <a href="http://sdsmail.org">SDSmail.org</a>. You can also use the <a href="http://sdsmail.org/email-list.html">email list</a> to send mail from your personal email program. Your goal should be 3 sets of emails. We recomend sending a minimum of one set and a maximum of 6 sets per email address per day. Don't be afraid to modify the email templates to give each message a unique feel. Some may call this spamming, and it kind of is, but we're trying to keep the spamming part to a minimum.</li><br /><br />

<li>Send Faxes to Disney. You can use <a href="http://savedisneyshows.org/fax/">these instructions</a> to set up your Windows XP computer as a fax machine. Unfortunately, Windows Vista Home does not include a fax program. You can, however, use <a href="http://faxzero.com">FaxZero.com</a> regardless of your operating system. Faxes are harder for Disney to ignore then emails, and cost very little (in phone charges). Disney's main fax number is (818) 560-1930. The rest are listed on the <a href="http://savedisneyshows.org/sds/witch/help/">How to Help Page</a>.</li><br /><br />

<li>Call Disney. <font color="red"><b>This is the most important thing you can do!</b></font> Three important Disney Phone numbers are the <b>Toll Free</b> number: (800) 874-1687, the <i>NEW</i> Toll Free number: (800) 723-4763 [Canada: 888 877-2843], and the main Disney Switchboard number: (818) 560-1000. If we jam their phone lines, it's very hard not to notice us. Many more phone numbers (including some cell phone numbers!) are available on the <a href="http://savedisneyshows.org/sds/witch/help/">How to Help Page</a>.</li><br /><br />

In preparation for this event, you should send paper letters to Disney using the addresses on the <a href="http://savedisneyshows.org/sds/witch/help/">How to Help</a> page about a week before the date of the event. The goal is to have them arive on Save W.I.T.C.H. Day. But it's never too late to send your mail in.<br /><br />

Also use the <a href="http://savedisneyshows.org/help/media/email/">Media Contact email program</a> to tell the media about our cause. But please, <b><u><i>Do Not Spam The Media!</i></b></u>. The media contacts on that program are <b>NOT</b> Disney. There is a sample letter for the Save KP movement that you can adapt for W.I.T.C.H. and other useful information in the <a href="http://savedisneyshows.org/help/media/">Contacting the Media</a> section.<br /><br />

  <p>On September 1st, 2006, Disney made a move that would signal the end of the W.I.T.C.H. animated series. On that day they moved all JETIX shows off of ABC Family to be shown exclusively on Toon Disney. This mid-season move left many fans in the dark, as Toon Disney is in half as many households as ABC Family channel. It's true that this series didn't get super ratings on ABC Family, but reducing the amount of people who can watch it is no way to increase viewership! And now, many months after the last season two episodes have aired, there is still no word on a third season. Most networks renew their shows before the previous season ends, and this extended delay shows that Disney doesn't really want to renew the show. Most people will agree that the second season is a significant improvement over the quality of the first season. There is so much potential for a third season that it truly deserves to be continued.

There is good news, however. Fans of Kim Possible where able to get that show renewed nine months after it 'ended production forever.' We can do the same for W.I.T.C.H., but only if we can generate the same (or even greater) level of support that KP had. This will be hard, but it is possible! But we need the help of every fan that can possibly help.</p>
