As far as we can tell, there was no single factor that caused disney to cancel the show, but rather a variety of factors. These included Alyson Michalka's Mother wanting a pay increase for Aly, Scheguling conflicts with Ricky Ullman's other projects, Aly & AJ's (then) new singing carear, and issues related to ratings. Since the orginal cancelation, Aly & AJ's new series fell through, Ricky made a rucus with the WeBee Boys, Amy Bruckner left hollywood, the sets where torn down, and Disney channel hit a new stride with High School Musical.

Today, only a handful of hardcore fans keep up the fight, and a third season seems unlikely. However, all is not lost. While many fans have moved on, there are still many fans around. A DCOM, especially if it where done in such a way that it promoted Aly & AJ, is still a good possibility. Because of the time travel aspect of the show, it is easy to pick up years after season two ended." />

  <p>In order to preserve the legacy of Phil of the Future it's important that the fans have physical copies of the episodes on DVD. Without box sets for Phil of the Future, there is now way to find new fans. And without new fans any series will fade away. We can't let that happen!</p>

<p>The Disney Company already releases box sets for ABC shows and select ABC Family shows, so they must recognize that selling currently airing shows on DVD can be profitable. They're released some older DC shows like TaleSpin and Darkwing Duck on DVD. (You can see many of these box sets in our shopping section.) Disney has also released a box set for Lizzie McGuire, but didn't release a second volume reportedly due to poor sales.</p>

<p>Which brings us back to our mission, to show Disney that there is a market for these DVD boxsets and that enough people can and will buy them for the effort to be worthwhile.</p>
  
  <p>Phil of the Future was cancelled in the Fall of 2005 at the end of Season two. As far as we can tell, there was no single factor that caused disney to cancel the show, but rather a variety of factors. These included Alyson Michalka's Mother wanting a pay increase for Aly, Scheguling conflicts with Ricky Ullman's other projects, Aly & AJ's (then) new singing carear, and issues related to ratings. Since the orginal cancelation, Aly & AJ's new series fell through, Ricky made a rucus with the WeBee Boys, Amy Bruckner left hollywood, the sets where torn down, and Disney channel hit a new stride with High School Musical.

Today, only a handful of hardcore fans keep up the fight, and a third season seems unlikely. However, all is not lost. While many fans have moved on, there are still many fans around. A DCOM, especially if it where done in such a way that it promoted Aly & AJ, is still a good possibility. Because of the time travel aspect of the show, it is easy to pick up years after season two ended.</p>
