The Save Disney Shows Petitions

Petitions will not save anything

It is critically important to realize that a petition is just a tool. It is the people, the fans, that make a difference. And the way you have the biggest impact is by writing directly to Disney using the information on our How to Help page.

So why do we have petitions?

The purpose of a petition is help show how many people support a cause, and how widespread that support is. For this reason, credibility is essential to any petition. Fraudulent signatures can easily kill an otherwise good petition and is the major weakness of petitiononline.com, petitionspot.com, ipetitions.com and other so-called online petitions.

Our take on the online petition

To help overcome the drawbacks of traditional online petitions, we created a new kind of petition called an "email petition." Email petitions would require each individual to send their name via email to be added to the list. Shows that have email petitions include KP, ADJL, and PotF. Visit the shows page to find more information about these petitions.

Our paper petitions

An even better tool is the old fashioned paper and ink petition. Here's how it works, you download the blank form, and collect as many signatures in your community as you can. Get your friends, family, classmates, co-workers, neighbors, etc. Be creative! Once you've finished one or more sheets, you then mail the petition pages back to us. We then compile the pages from everyone, and send the complete petitions to Disney just before each of our save the show days.

Let's get started!

Step 1. Download the correct Petition,

Kim Possible version:
Petition-KP.pdf (Recommended)
Petition-KP.doc (for people with MS Word)
Petition-KP.rtf (for people without MS Word)

American Dragon Jake Long version:
Petition-ADJL.pdf (Recommended)
Petition-ADJL.doc (for people with MS Word)
Petition-ADJL.rtf (for people without MS Word)

Phil of the Future version:
Petition-Phil.pdf (Recommended)
Petition-Phil.doc (for people with MS Word)
Petition-Phil.rtf (for people without MS Word)

The Suite Life version:
Petition-Phil.pdf (Recommended)
Petition-Phil.doc (for people with MS Word)
Petition-Phil.rtf (for people without MS Word)

Lilo and Stitch version:
Petition-LS.pdf (Recommended)
Petition-LS.doc (for people with MS Word)
Petition-LS.rtf (for people without MS Word)

Step 2. Print it out, sign it yourself, and then get as many other people to sign as possible. Each page has 15/16 lines, if/when you fill those up then print another copy and keep going. If you can only get two signatures, then get two signatures. If you can get 200, then get 200. Every person counts so please try, this is one of our most powerful tools - use it.
The ADJL & TSL versions are slightly revised. they have ten lines per page so that it will be easier to count the total number of signatures on full pages. Please do not sign more than ten people on a page for these petitions. The ADJL & TSL petitions also require the collector of the signatures to certify that all the information is true. We added this to further improve the credibility of these petitions.

Step 3. Mail it in. Mail as many pages as you have, one at a time or all at once when you're done, to:

Save ______ Petition
C/O Gregory Isaac
PO Box 893211
Temecula, CA 92589-3211

Replace the "_____" with the name of the show your petition is for. If you're sending in pages for more than one petition, write both (example: "Save Phil and Jake Long petitions").

I will compile all the petitions sent to me and make sure Disney gets the petitions. And yes, you can sign all the versions.

Step 4. When you mail the petition(s) please also email Greg to let me know it's on it's way. And that's all there is to it.

But please don't stop to keep writing letters to Disney.
