The 65 Episode Rule

The 65 Episode Rule is a major focus of this site, and this section is meant to help ease the confusion about it. Lately people have been playing semantics games to support their differing positions, so let me say up front that we won't do that here. First, there is a 65 episode rule. There is no 65 episode policy. When the fans refer to the 65 episode rule we mean the way of thinking at Disney that dictates that 65 is a good place to stop. Disney uses 65 as a "rule of thumb" and unless under orders from the board they stop at 65. As far as we know, there is no written document that states that DC shows must end at 65, and that's good news for us. The important thing to remember is that even though it's not written down doesn't mean it isn't real because it is. It isn't fair to the fans or the company, and that's why this website is here.
